Analysis of SARS-CoV-2 S1 NTD (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0533-LGZ)

Introduction

Coronavirus (CoV) is a single-strand positive-strand RNA virus with membranes, belonging to the order Capaviridae, the family Coronaviridae, and the genus Coronaviridae. It is the largest RNA virus currently known. So far, there are 7 kinds of coronaviruses that can infect humans, namely HCoV-229E and HCoV-NL63 in the α group, HCoV-OC43 and HCoV-HKU1 in the β group A group, and atypical pneumonia virus (SARS-HKU1) in the B group. CoV) and 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in group C.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

COVID-19 Coronavirus

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Serum, Plasma, Saliva, Upper Respiratory Sample
