Analysis of WNT3A Gene (Mutation) by RT-qPCR (CAT#: STEM-MT-0753-LGZ)

Introduction

Official Full Name: Wnt family member 3A
The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes encoding secretory signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in tumorigenesis and several developmental processes, including the regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. The protein it encodes is 96% amino acid homologous to mouse Wnt3A protein and 84% amino acid homologous to human WNT3 protein, another product of the WNT gene. This gene is clustered with the family member WNT14 gene on chromosome 1q42.

Principle

Quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) is an experimental method applied to PCR experiments using RNA as the starting material. In this method, total or messenger RNA (mRNA) is first transcribed into complementary DNA (cDNA) by reverse transcriptase. Subsequently, qPCR reaction was performed using cDNA as template.

Applications

Gene mutation analysis.

Procedure

1. Sample processing and preparation of PCR reaction system.
2. Add the amplification template, cover the PCR reaction cover, mix well, centrifuge at low speed instantaneously, and transfer to the PCR instrument.
3. Set the program for PCR amplification.
4. Data analysis.
