Beckman Avanti J-26S XP Centrifuge (B14535), 82000 x g, model J-26S XP, is manufactured by Beckman Coulter. The Beckman Avanti® J-26XP High Performance Centrifuge is a fast and specialized solution exclusively designed to process up to six liters in less than 10 minutes. This Beckman centrifuge is crafted to perform a vast range of separations and is proven to effectively replace the work of two or three older instruments. The Avanti® J-26XP is able to deliver a subcellular fraction at 82,000 x g, run 24 microplates at a time, and separate live cell populations with elutriation.
The ergonomic design of the Avanti® J-26XP allows faster and more convenient handling of the centrifuge. Using the high-torque, switched-reluctance (SR) drive technology, the J-26 XP reduces cycle and waiting times. Also, the Friction Reduction System (FRS) incorporated in the Avanti® centrifuge series lessens energy consumption and allows the instrument to run quieter and faster.
Integrated with a full range of rotors, adaptors, and sample carriers, the Avanti® J-26XP centrifuge offers superior versatility and efficient centrifugation. Moreover, the system reduces hands-on sample handling with HarvestLine System Liners, thus improving biosafety and storage.
An enhanced version of the model, the Beckman Avanti® J-26XPI Centrifuge incorporates all the features of the Avanti J-26XP, in addition to a number of advanced capabilities which include SpinTrace® software compatibility, zonal rotor capability, and 12 accel/decel rates.
Other safety features of the Beckman Avanti® J-26XP centrifuge include a full containment barrier, enhanced biosafety, and Automated Rotor Identification.
