Description

The manufacturer of BioTek Synergy HT Microplate Reader is BioTek. Model is Synergy HT. Biotek Synergy HT is a single channel absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence microplate reader. BioTek's Gen5 or KC4 PC software was used for computer control for all operations, including data restoration and analysis. The Synergy HT is robotically accessible and compatible with BioTek's BioStack Microplate Stacker. When performing fluorescence measurements, the Synergy HT uses a tungsten-quartz halogen lamp combined with a photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector with wavelength-specific interference filters. The low-noise PMT detector measures luminescence through an empty filter in the emission filter wheel. Absorbance measurements were performed by switching to a xenon lamp and a monochromator for wavelength selection. Synergy HT features 4-zone temperature control from ambient 4 °C to 50 °C, readings in 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, 96- and 384-well microplates are supported, standard 128 x 86 mm geometry size. A shaker plate is internally supported to allow for proper mixing of reagents prior to reading.
