The Clinton 4-5500 Small Two-Sided Staircase manufactured by Clinton Industries provides safe up/down stair rehabilitation with a space-saving design ideal for a physical therapy office. Two, full width safety treads line each step of the stairs and comfort grip, moulded, solid hardwood handrails make rehabilitation safe. The one piece handrail support system is preassembled and secured to the base with bolt-through mounting. The hardwood plywood base has a reinforced underside assembled with steel fasteners and metal braces that provides a bariatric weight capacity of 500 lbs (226.80 kgs). The two-sided staircase requires a minimum ceiling height of 9 ft (2.74 m) and is available with a bus step that creates a 12 inch (30.48 cm) step height.
