The Clinton 4-5501 One-Sided Staircase manufactured by Clinton Industries has a space-saving corner design ideal for physical therapy offices. The training staircases are equipped with safety features including two, full width, treads on each step and comfort grip, moulded, solid hardwood handrails. The one-pice handrail support system is preassembled with powder-coated steel uprights and secured to the base with bolt-through mounting. The all hardwood plywood base has a brace reinforced undersided, giving the stairs a bariatric weight capacity of 500 lbs (226.80 kgs). The one-sided staircases are also available with a bus step that increases a step height to 12 inches (30.48 cm) - See accessories below. The Clinton 4-5501 requires a minimum ceiling height of 9 ft (2.74 m).
