Application: The B-UV-S is suitable for evaluating the relative durability of non-metallic materials such as paints, coatings, plastics, etc. through accelerated aging tests by light and water exposure. It is especially useful for observing physical damage to particularly durable materials, such as loss of gloss, fading, haze, loss of strength, chalking, cracking, blistering and embrittlement. It is also suitable for food, medicine and cosmetic industries.<br /><br />Applications in the food/pharmaceutical industry:<br />It can meet the photostability test requirements of ICH-Q1B new APIs and new preparations: near-ultraviolet fluorescent lamps can emit light at 320~400nm and 350~370nm energy. The sample should be exposed to cool white light not less than 1.2×106Lux·hr. The near-ultraviolet energy is not less than 200w·hr, so that the stability of drugs and preparations can be directly compared.<br /><br />Application in the cosmetic industry:<br />It can meet the verification of the UV isolation effect of cosmetics, quickly evaluate the anti-aging properties of materials, screen or improve new and old formulas, and monitor product quality.
