Organophosphorus pesticides (OPs) are widely used to prevent the diseases and insect pests of fruits and vegetables, which can easily enter the human body through the skin and the respiratory tract. To prevent these uncontrolled effects on human health of OPs in fruits and vegetables, it is crucial to establish a rapid and accurate analysis method to detect OPs residues.
In this service, a capillary electrophoresis-based online immobilized acetylcholinesterase (AChE) microreactor is developed for the determination of organophosphorus pesticide (OPs) residues in six fruit and vegetable juice samples. AChE is immobilized on the inner wall at the inlet of the capillary via polydopamine (PDA) coating. The immobilized AChE activity and other kinetic parameters are evaluated by measuring the peak area of the product (thiocholine).
