Dual-Channel Isolated Microvascular Tension Measurement System, model 420A is manufactured by RWD Life Science Co.,LTD
The DMT 420A dual-channel isolated microvascular tensiometer is used to measure the tension changes during contraction and relaxation of isolated microvascular samples with diameters ranging from 30 microns to 3 mm. Take a section of the isolated blood vessel of the experimental animal (about 2mm long) and place it in the acid-resistant stainless steel tensioner bath. Two stainless steel wires pass through the lumen of the isolated microvessel, and two screws are used to fix one of the stainless steel wires on the microspiral ruler. The spiral ruler is manually rotated to accurately control the circumference of the microvessel sample. Another wire is fixed to the tension transducer. After adding the drug, the isolated microvascular sample contracts or relaxes, and the tension transducer can measure the tension changes during contraction and relaxation in real time.
During the experiment, the circumference of the blood vessels was maintained constant, vasoactive drugs were added to the bath, the blood vessels experienced isometric contraction, and the tension transducer measured the tension changes during contraction and relaxation in real time.

The dedicated DMT host driver allows the tension data to be output directly to the LabChart software without the need to connect a physiological recorder for signal conversion, making the signal more stable and consistent.
