This instrument uses the principle of Soxhlet extraction to measure the fat content by gravimetric method. The fat is dissolved in an organic solvent, and the fat is separated from the solvent by an extraction method, then dried, weighed, and the fat content is calculated. The instrument is mainly composed of three parts: heating soaking extraction, solvent recovery and cooling. During operation, the heating temperature can be adjusted according to the difference of the boiling point of the reagent and the ambient temperature. The sample is soaked and extracted repeatedly during the extraction process, so as to achieve the purpose of rapid determination.
