Description

FinePointe Whole Body Plethysmography System (WBP), model STEM-LEAR-0771-YJL is manufactured by Data Sciences Internatinal, Inc.
DSI Buxco whole body plethysmography system, referred to as WBP system (Whole Body Plethysmography), is mainly used to monitor the respiratory function of experimental animals in awake, free-moving, non-restrained, non-anesthetized conditions. During the monitoring process, experimental animals need to be placed in specially designed chambers for experiments. The WBP chamber is equipped with a highly sensitive pressure sensor that can detect subtle pressure changes in the chamber. The cavity is also equipped with pneumotachs with mesh holes, through which the air flow can enter from outside the cavity into the cavity, resulting in subtle pressure changes, and the cavity itself is a tracer. Based on these subtle flow signals, Buxco FinePointe software provides you with professional and accurate pulmonary ventilation, bronchoconstriction and other related parameters through professional calculation formulas and analysis.
