Description

The HP Agilent 1050 HPLC is a great basic budget start-up system for startups, academic research, or teaching labs. It was the first modular design from HP (the 1100 came out late, but it really wasn't any better for day-to-day analytical work...it was just a newer model). The model can be run as a stand-alone manually controlled system or with a computer and software. Each module has front panel controls. They are easy to repair and maintain.

HP Agilent 1050 series HPLC is a series of HPLC products based on the modular concept. By breaking down the necessary functionality into separate, self-contained modules, laboratories can build a capable system that meets the individual needs of their application. We provide HP Agilent 1050 VWD system to meet the requirements of routine analysis and QC/QA analysis.

The system is equipped with the 1050 Variable Wavelength Detector (VWD), a self-contained grating/photodiode type universal detector. For easy operation, the detector has a function keypad and a 16-character fluorescent display. The 79853C VWD can also be used as an ordinary LC detector.

The HP Agilent 1050 VWD HPLC system provided radiation from a deuterium lamp focused on a spherical mirror. The wavelength can also be selected by rotating the grating, directly driven by a stepper motor to change the wavelength quickly.

Additional features of the HP Agilent 1050 VWD system include leak interface and leak sensor assemblies, two fans, and an optical unit including flow cells, filters, and beam splitters, among others.
