Leukocytes are a class of colorless, spherical, nucleated blood cells that are widely found in the blood and lymph. White blood cells are the body's "guards" in the fight against disease. When the bacteria invade the body, the white blood cells can deform and pass through the capillary wall, concentrate on the site of the bacteria invasion, thus encircling the bacteria and phagocytosis. If the number of white blood cells in the body is higher than normal, it is likely that the body has inflammation.
