When high performance is required in applications, these low noise drivers can provide excellent current stability in constant current mode or <0.02% power stability in constant power mode. Use the on-board output current for adjustment of the trimmer potentiometer or use a remote voltage to precisely control the set-point current of the laser diode or photodiode to the modulation input. The limit current trim potentiometer is adjustable to prevent the laser diode from exceeding its maximum rated current even when modulating the laser diode. Measure the laser diode and photodiode current from two buffered monitor outputs. Evaluation board (P/N: LDDPCB-P) and cable (P/N: WCB201) are provided to accelerate the implementation of LDD in your application. For 400 mA, the LDD400 series can be used.
