Micro-SPECT/CT Imaging (CAT#: STEM-PET-0009-WXH)

Introduction

Micro-SPECT/CT stands for Single Photon Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography. SPECT/CT is currently the most popular nuclear medicine imaging equipment, and its imaging uses the principle of radioisotope tracing and single-photon detection technique. At the molecular level, it shows biological characteristics and biochemical metabolic processes such as functional changes of living animal tissues and organs, cell metabolism, molecular combination and information transmission. Compared with the resolution of Micro-PET millimeter level (1-2mm), the resolution of SPECT can reach submillimeter level (0.3-0.5mm), and the half-life of SPECT single-photon tracer is longer, and the overall imaging cost is lower . SPECT/CT combines the advantages of the two in terms of function and anatomy to achieve multimodal imaging.
