Features
1. Simple analysis and optimization. 2. Can be integrated with Molecular Devices' StakMax® Microplate Stacker. 3. Comprehensive data analysis software. 4. Monochromatic filter is equipped. 5. The SpectraMax® 340 PC 384 Absorbance Microplate Reader from Molecular Devices provides the necessary tools for absorbance measurements in the visible range. Features demonstrated by the model include temperature control, a robot-compatible interface and data analysis software. 6. Each SpectraMax® 340 PC 384 Microplate Reader has an optical system built around a monochromator. Absorbance detection of up to six wavelengths in the visible wavelength range 340 nm - 850 nm can be conveniently selected at a time. The narrow bandwidth used by this model increases measurement accuracy and linearity over a wide range of analyses. Users can expect high precision and speed when reading 96- and 384-well microplates during endpoint measurements, kinetic analyses, and spectral scans. 7. The multi-channel optical design of this SpectraMax microplate reader simulates a dual beam spectrophotometer. This unique design allows each sample to be measured directly on the plate. Therefore, measurement errors due to variations in light output between fibers are eliminated, increasing the reliability of reported data. 8. Equipped with patented PathCheck® path length measurement technology, this microwell reader is capable of converting each microwell into a fixed optical path length test tube. Other system properties include a temperature-independent normalization feature (to correct for changing well volumes) and a direct absorbance-based concentration calculation. 9. The SpectraMax 340 PC 384 Microplate Reader is equipped with Molecular Devices' leading data acquisition and analysis software. Seamless integration of the StakMax® Microplate Processing System with data acquisition and analysis software is possible.
