The Gemini XPS Microplate Reader features dual monochromators that allow you to experiment with a variety of fluorophores and even find the optimal excitation and emission wavelengths for your new assay. Multi-well scanning optimizes cell-based assay sensitivity. The optical design of the Molecular Devices SpectraMax XPS is the only multi-channel system that truly mimics a dual-beam spectrophotometer. Each sample has a discrete sample and reference beam, so each well can be measured directly. Eight-channel system - including 8 sample beams and 8 reference beams provides exceptional precision and speed of read through microplates. Up to 96 analyzes can be performed at one time, and users can scan spectra from 250nm to 750nm. Microplate Data Analysis Software provides built-in spreadsheet functionality for easy data analysis. Select excitation and emission wavelengths between 250 and 850 nm with a dual monochromator, eliminating the need to identify, purchase, and change filters for wavelength optimization.
