Plant Abscisic Acid Detection

Abscisic acid (ABA) is a plant hormone that regulates many plant developmental processes, such as dormancy and germination of seed, bud dormancy, root growth, fruit ripening, leaf senescence and stomatal regulation, and plays an important part in plant responses to plant pathogens and environmental stresses, including drought, soil salinity, cold tolerance, freezing tolerance, heat stress and heavy metal ion tolerance. ABA is synthesized in almost all plant tissues, including seeds, roots, leaves, flowers, fruits and stems. ABA production is induced by a variety of environmental stresses, such as heat stress, water stress, salt stress.

STEMart is able to efficiently and accurately detect the content and changes of ABA in plant samples based on HPLC and ELISA platform.
