PYRO-SA has a VAC-1000 Acid Scrubber that can safely and effectively neutralize the sulfuric acid fumes generated in the process. The operator simply weighs each sample into the crucible, adds H2SO4, and then loads the sample into the furnace cavity. A multi-step method can be programmed to first carbonize and then ash the sample, while VAC-1000 continuously removes and neutralizes the flue gas in the furnace. This eliminates the hassle of the operator participating in the carbonization step, making the process more efficient, and much safer. PYRO-SA is the safest, fastest and most effective method for sulfate ashing.
