The Recombinant Human CEACAM-1/CD66a (His Tag) manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for studying CEACAM-1-mediated cellular processes.
Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-related cell adhesion molecule 1 (CEACAM-1; also BGP) is a 160 kDa member of the CEACAM branch of the CEA gene family of the immunoglobulin superfamily. Human CEACAM-1 is a 526 amino acid (aa) type I transmembrane protein containing a 34 aa signal sequence, a 394 aa extracellular domain (ECD), a 24 aa transmembrane segment, and a 74 aa cytoplasmic region. The ECD includes one N-terminal V-type Ig-like domain, followed by three C2-type Ig-like domains, showing considerable glycosylation. The cytoplasmic region features an ITIM motif and a calmodulin binding site.

Source: Recombinant Human CEACAM-1/CD66a Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Gln35-Gly428.
Molecular Weight: Approximately 44.4 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 68-115 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
Activity: ELISA Data: Immobilized Human CEACAM-1 at 0.5μg/ml (100μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Anti-CEACAM-1 Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 7.1ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
