Description

The Recombinant Human CD27 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for T-cell co-stimulation and immune responses.
CD27, also known as TNFRSF7, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF) that is primarily expressed on cells of the lymphoid lineage. It exists both as a dimeric glycoprotein on the cell surface and as a soluble protein in serum. CD27 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of about 55 kDa, and it forms disulfide-linked homodimers.
CD27 has been shown to play important roles in lymphoid proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. It serves as a T and B cell co-stimulatory molecule and is involved in the generation of T cell immunity. CD27 is considered a robust marker for normal memory B cells. The activity of CD27 is regulated by its TNF-like ligand CD70, which is expressed on lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
The interaction between CD27 and CD70 is crucial for Th1 (T helper 1) generation responses to differentiation signals, the long-term maintenance of T cell immunity, and the regulation of B-cell differentiation, activation, and immunoglobulin synthesis.
For storage, lyophilized (freeze-dried) products can be stored at 4°C for 24 months. After reconstitution, the liquid can be stored at -20°C for 6-12 months, and it is recommended to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
