The Recombinant Murine GM-CSF Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for stimulating growth and differentiation of granulocytes and macrophages. Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) is a hematopoietic growth factor that promotes the development of neutrophils and macrophages and stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of early myeloid and eosinophil progenitor cells. It is produced by endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts, and T lymphocytes. GM-CSF inhibits the migration of neutrophils and enhances the functional activity of mature terminal cells. The human and murine molecules are species-specific and do not exhibit cross-species reactivity. The lyophilized formulation can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injection-grade water, physiological saline, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be divided into smaller aliquots and stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, with a final concentration after dilution not lower than 100 μg/mL. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
