The Roche Hitachi 911 Chemical Analyzer is a fully automated and computerized system consisting of two parts: an analysis unit and a control unit. The analytical components of this Roche chemical analyzer work with a photometric technology known as an ion-selective electrode (ISE) system and a CPU. The control unit consists of a display (CRT), keyboard and printer. Other highlights of the Hitachi 911 include automatic calibration, fast STAT results and 24 hours a day use.
The Hitachi 911 Chemistry Analyzer performs in vitro quantitative and qualitative testing of a wide range of analytes using a variety of sample types, including serum, urine, plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Potentiometric and photometric measurements were also performed with this model.
