Description

The HS-12 semi-automatic headspace sampler includes an upper computer interface and dedicated control software, allowing users to monitor headspace operation and control the sampler via a workstation or third-party software. It features microcomputer control and a large touch screen interface for setting various method parameters, displaying real-time working status and process information, and providing multiple methods for editing, storing, and recalling. The headspace vial, sampling system, and sampling (injection) conduit are controlled for three-way heating via the touch screen. All sample transfer lines and quantitative loops are made of imported high-inertness deactivated tubing, eliminating residue and cross-contamination to ensure repeatability and accuracy. The six-port valve and quantitative loop combination minimizes dead volume, enhancing injection precision, with no cold spots in the transfer line for sample integrity. The sampler uses a classic positive pressure sampling method for high detection sensitivity with liquid or solid samples, stable baseline, and the ability to detect benzene at 1ppb in water. The six-port valve is motor-driven, requiring no external drive gas, ensuring safe and convenient use. It supports automatic injection with low residual adsorption and strong versatility, with an automatic six-port valve ensuring consistent sample injection repeatability. After injection, the sample transfer line (including the sampling needle) and injection valve have an automatic backflush function to prevent cross-contamination. The sample box's matrix arrangement ensures uniform heating, reducing volume and power consumption. Optional accessories include different temperature six-port valves and imported inert injection needles. The device features self-check (board-level and gas path) and fault display functions, and includes a crimper for user convenience and cost reduction. It offers strong compatibility with various gas chromatographs, supporting synchronized startup of the GC and chromatographic data processing workstation, and enabling repeated injections from the same sample vial using external event programs.
