YSI's new biosensor technology, biochemical analysis can get results in 60s. Using specific enzymes to act on a single target analysis, the YSI immobilized enzyme electrode brings fast, accurate, and strong anti-interference, and the analysis results can be obtained within one minute. Anti-clogging chamber fluid mechanics design, even in high-density cell liquid, it will not be blocked.
Modular design, upgrade service available, YSI 2900 series offers an intuitive graphical user interface, touch screen. The 2900 series biochemical analyzer is easy to use and cost-effective to measure the following chemical substances with a wide measurement range: glucose, lactic acid, glutamine, glutamic acid, ammonium, potassium, xylose, ethanol, methanol, sucrose, galactose, lactose , choline, glycerol, hydrogen peroxide.
Principle
The YSI biochemical analyzer uses enzyme membrane electrometry for measurement and ammonia/potassium ions for ion electrometry
The enzyme membrane consists of three layers of material. The first layer is porous polycarbonate, which is used to limit the speed of the substrate entering the second layer (enzyme layer), thereby preventing the reaction from being restricted by the limited enzyme layer due to the excessive amount of substrate. The third layer is a cellulose film layer, which is used to filter the hydrogen peroxide to pass through and reach the electricity for measurement.
