SP Sepharose XL manufactured by Cytiva is a strong cation exchanger designed for use in the capture steps of biomolecules from clarified feed-stocks. Combining high loading capacities with excellent physical and chemical stability, SP Sepharose XL is ideal for the capture stage of a downstream process, which is characterised by large loads of crude samples. The highly cross-linked, bead formed 6% agarose matrix is hydrophilic, offering low levels of non-specific binding leading to low levels of host cell-derived impurities in the elution pool.
