Description

The STA 2500 is a highly reliable and fully equipped top-load differential balance. It is ideal for standard STA measurements. Its temperature program changes frequently and the price is favorable. The STA 2500 has a highly reliable, well-equipped instrument kit that can perform STA measurements at temperatures up to 1600°C at an attractive price. The natural gas flow in the top loading system ensures that the balance is automatically protected from condensation and contamination. A tailor-made differential balancing system eliminates the effects of buoyancy and convection over a wide temperature range. This provides easy operation without the need for time-consuming baseline runs. The measurement can be performed under an inert and oxidizing atmosphere or under vacuum. The atmosphere can be dynamic or static. The built-in mass flow controller (MFC) is controlled by software and allows gas to be changed at any time during the test. STA's highest load design can be easily coupled with gas analysis systems, such as FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared) spectrometer, MS (mass spectrometer) or GC-MS (gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer). During the heat treatment, the generated gas can be analyzed simultaneously.
