The main features of the Sorvall MTX-150 include a simple yet powerful and reliable method of operation. The MTX-150 was designed with ease of rotor loading, instrument setup, and instrument operation in mind. In order to improve the convenience of use, a visual tube balancing method is designed. The USB interface can be connected to a memory stick for easy output of operational data in CSV format.

The Sorvall MTX-150 Micro Ultracentrifuge features a self-locking rotor system. The system automatically fixes the rotor on the drive shaft. This eliminates the need to manually secure the rotor, facilitates rotor installation and enhances safety.

Fast acceleration and deceleration provide simple but powerful and reliable operation for easy rotor loading as well as instrument setup and operation. This will reduce the total rotation time, saving valuable research time.
