Description

Vacuum Pump Isolation Valve (VPI) is manufactured by Agilent Technologies. VPI and mechanical pumps are electrically connected in parallel. It can be quickly shut down even when the power is turned off, thereby preventing oil from flowing back or particles from entering your vacuum system. The valve also evacuates the pump from the inlet side, so that all debris can be pushed to the outlet, thus preventing debris from being flushed into the system when the pump restarts.
