The Z blade sigma/kneader mixer delivers the highest shear forces onto the products, using our longstanding and successful Z blade design.
Stainless steel construction throughout, with the option of 316 grade construction of product contact parts if required. These can be polished, bead blasted or left as mill finish. Special hardened steels and finishes are available for high wear applications which can be combined with replaceable wear tip blades and liners.
The blades operate at a low speed to apply as much energy to the mix as possible, an ω -omega shaped trough allows a tight blade clearance and sweep during the mix.
The kneading action created delivers a thorough homogenisation of the products.
