Activated Carbon Filter Testing

Activated carbon filter testing involves evaluating the effectiveness of filters used in devices such as air purifiers and ventilation systems, or those used in personal protective equipment such as masks. The main goal is to confirm they are capable of removing harmful particles from the air. These particles could be solid particles like dust, pollen, mold spores or liquid droplets from aerosols.

Activated carbon is a widely used adsorbent at present, using coal, charcoal, fruit cores and fruit shells as raw materials. After high-temperature carbonization and activation treatment, there are micropores of various shapes in the middle of its lattice structure, forming a porous structure. It has a large specific surface area, so it has strong adsorption capacity.

STEMart provides comprehensive and reliable activated carbon filter testing services to evaluate how effectively the filter removes impurities, toxins, or contaminants from a fluid flow, such as air or water, and ensure that these filters are safe, effective, and reliable for their intended application.
