Analysis of CD14 (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0081-LGZ)

Introduction

The human CD14 gene is located on chromosome 5 at locus 5q23-31. According to the cDNA sequence of CD14, CD14 is composed of 356 amino acids. After the ribosome synthesizes the polypeptide, it is transported to the Golgi complex for glycosylation reaction, so CD14 is a glycoprotein. It was initially confirmed that CD14 is a myeloid differentiation antigen that exists in mature myeloid cells, while immature myeloid cells do not have CD14.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Immunology/Inflammation

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Serum, Plasma
