Analysis of FCRL4 Gene (Mutation) by RT-qPCR (CAT#: STEM-MT-0981-LGZ)

Introduction

Official Full Name: Fc receptor like 4
Also known as: FCRH4; IGFP2; IRTA1; CD307d
This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily and is one of several Fc receptor-like glycoproteins clustered on the long arm of chromosome 1. The encoded protein has four extracellular C2-type immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic domain, which contains three tyrosine-based immunoreceptor inhibitory motifs. This protein may play a role in the function of epithelial memory B cells. Aberrations in the chromosomal region encoding this gene have been linked to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and multiple myeloma.

Principle

Quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) is an experimental method applied to PCR experiments using RNA as the starting material. In this method, total or messenger RNA (mRNA) is first transcribed into complementary DNA (cDNA) by reverse transcriptase. Subsequently, qPCR reaction was performed using cDNA as template.

Applications

Gene mutation analysis.

Procedure

1. Sample processing and preparation of PCR reaction system.
2. Add the amplification template, cover the PCR reaction cover, mix well, centrifuge at low speed instantaneously, and transfer to the PCR instrument.
3. Set the program for PCR amplification.
4. Data analysis.
