The Beckman J2-HC is a high performance, high capacity centrifuge system. Carrying conventional fast centrifuge rotors up to 18,000 rpm, producing 47,900 xg, the J2-HC runs the largest swing bucket rotor.

Equipped with color-coded modular adapters, the Beckman J2-HC centrifuge can accommodate virtually all tube sizes from 1.5 mL to 100 mL and diameters from 10 mm to 44 mm. The bottle holder also supports a variety of bottles from 230ml to 750ml with round, flat or conical bottoms, while its microplate carrier is interchangeable with the JS-4.3's barrel, allowing you to spin four six-well tissue culture plates or more Up to eight double-stacked 96-well plates per run.

This Beckman centrifuge model is designed to increase laboratory safety. When an over-temperature condition is reached, the centrifuge can automatically stop. In the event of rotor imbalance, the system automatically shuts down to protect the sample, instrument and operator.

The Beckman J2-HC centrifuge is also equipped with an electronic door interlock, ensuring that the chamber door is securely locked before a run begins and remains locked during a run. Additionally, an all-steel cabin surrounded by a steel barrier ring and door steel plate provides a tertiary physical seal.
