The Biotinylated Recombinant Human MSLN/Mesothelin (His-Avi Tag) manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for studying MSLN-expressing cells in research and detection applications.
Mesothelin, also known as CAK1 and ERC, derives from a 70 kDa precursor that includes Megakaryocyte Potentiating Factor (MPF). It is expressed on mesothelial cells and upregulated in mesotheliomas and various carcinomas and adenomas. Mesothelin promotes tumor cell functions like proliferation, migration, anchorage-independent growth, and overall tumor progression.

Source: Recombinant Biotinylated Human MSLN/Mesothelin Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminal. It contains Glu296-Gly580.
Molecular Weight: Approximately 35.2 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 40-50 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
Activity: ELISA Data: Immobilized Biotinylated Human MSLN at 0.5μg/ml (100μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Anti-MSLN Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 20.3ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
