CaptureSelect™ IgG-Fc (ms) purifies IgG from various species by binding to the Fc region of IgG antibodies. This affinity medium is designed for the purification of IgGs from a variety of species, including mouse, cow, rabbit, rat, goat, horse, human and sheep. CaptureSelect™ IgG-Fc (ms) binds to a highly conserved epitope in the Fc region of the heavy chain. Unlike protein G, which is known to present challenges resulting in low yields, dissociated homodimers, and denatured antibodies under standard elution conditions, this product can be used under mild elution conditions to preserve the structure of the purified protein and functional integrity.

Affinity ligands for ThermoFisher's CaptureSelect™ media are based on recombinant antibody fragments of only 14 kDa in size and can be adapted for highly selective binding to certain moieties or antibodies and antibody fragments.
