The binding constant, or affinity constant/association constant, is a special case of the equilibrium constant K, and is the inverse of the dissociation constant. Determination of equilibrium constants (association/dissociation) is a relevant subject in different disciplines. Its knowledge is useful for many application fields: agrochemical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic, physiology, medicine, biochemistry, biology and environmental, among others.
