Flow Resistance Test Analyzer

The sound-absorbing performance of porous sound-absorbing materials is closely related to the resistance of airflow passing through the sound-absorbing materials, which is described by the physical quantity of flow resistance. Accurately measuring the flow resistance characteristics of materials plays an important role in the research and analysis of its acoustic characteristics and the optimization of product performance.

Sample Requirements

  • The shape of the sample is a cylinder with a diameter of 100 mm (customizable), and the surface is flat and uniform.
  • The maximum height of the sample shall not exceed 90 mm.
  • Soft and compressible materials, such as thermal insulation fibers or foam plastics, should avoid gaps at their edges, so the size should be slightly larger. The hard sample should have the same dimensions as the cross-section of the measuring tube.
