Description

G-Biosciences Ni-NTA magnetic beads are 3 micron magnetic beads for rapid purification of X his tagged proteins. Ni-NTA magnetic beads have nitrotriacetic acid (NTA) groups, and the charged nickel is covalently bound to the surface dextran of the magnetic beads. Due to the high affinity, Ni-NTA magnetic beads can be used to capture 6X his-tagged proteins.

Bound 6X his-tagged proteins can be temporarily immobilized under magnetic attraction, so non-tagged proteins in the supernatant can be easily and efficiently removed. Bound proteins can be used directly in downstream applications or eluted from the beads. The capacity of G-Biosciences' Ni-NTA magnetic beads to capture purified 6X his-tagged protein (~35kDa) is ≈5 mg/ml.

Non-magnetic Ni-NTA, Ni-IDA and fast flow beads are also available.
Magnetic mounts are available.
