The MicroBeta2 system supports coincidence counting, a unique patented configuration with two photomultiplier tubes that detect signals simultaneously, ensuring high efficiency and extremely low background values for a wide range of radionuclides. In addition, it features time-resolved liquid scintillation counting (TR-LSC), which provides excellent counting performance for opaque plates where conventional coincidence counting is not possible.
