The PTR-TOF 8000 combines the very low online detection limit (less than 15 pptv) with the speed and resolution of a time of flight mass spectrometer. The TOF component can analyze the entire mass spectrum in one second, with a mass resolution of over 5000 and a maximum of 8000. Even isobaric substances can be separated and identified, there is almost no limit to the mass range, and the linear range exceeds 5 orders of magnitude.
