The Recombinant Human EGF Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for promoting cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation. Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) is an important growth factor composed of a peptide chain consisting of 53 amino acids. This peptide chain contains six cysteine molecules that form stable disulfide bonds between them, resulting in an active substance with three connected loops. EGF is widely used as a mitogen for the in vitro culture of neural stem cells and can act as an inducer to promote the differentiation of neural stem cells into neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes. The lyophilized product can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injectable water, saline solution, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be aliquoted, with a recommended storage period of 6 months at -20°C and 12 months at -80°C. When diluting, ensure a final concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
