The Recombinant Murine TNF α Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for pro-inflammatory effects and immune response regulation. Tumor Necrosis Factor-Alpha (TNF-α) is a pleiotropic pro-inflammatory cytokine secreted by various cell types, including adipocytes, activated monocytes, macrophages, B cells, T cells, and fibroblasts. It belongs to the TNF family of ligands and signals through two receptors, TNFR1 and TNFR2. TNF-α exhibits cytotoxicity against various tumor cells and plays a critical role in mediating immune responses to bacterial infections. It is involved in septic shock, autoimmune diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, and diabetes induction. The lyophilized product can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injectable water, saline solution, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be aliquoted, with a recommended storage period of 6 months at -20°C and 12 months at -80°C. When diluting, ensure a final concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
