The Recombinant Murine VEGF165 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for promoting angiogenesis and vascular permeability. VEGF, or Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor, is a potent cell growth and angiogenesis factor. It stimulates endothelial cell proliferation and survival, promoting angiogenesis and vascular permeability. VEGF is expressed in vascularized tissues and plays a critical role in normal and pathological angiogenesis. Extensive evidence suggests that VEGF plays a crucial role in inducing tumor metastasis and ocular neovascular syndromes. VEGF is expressed through FMS-like tyrosine kinase (Flt-1), KDR gene product (mouse homolog is FLK-1 gene product), and FLT 4 gene product. The lyophilized formulation can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. If further dilution is required, it can be reconstituted with injection-grade water, physiological saline, culture medium, or PBS. Once reconstituted, it should be aliquoted, and the aliquots should be stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, with a post-dilution concentration not less than 100 μg/mL, while avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
