Sephacryl S-100 High Resolution manufactured by Cytiva is a highly versatile gel filtration resin which is ideal for separation of peptides and small proteins (fractionation range globular proteins 1 × 10- 1 × 10⁵) by size exclusion chromatography. The matrix of Sephacryl High Resolution resins is a cross-linked copolymer of allyl dextran and N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide. This crosslinking gives good rigidity and chemical stability. The combination of narrow particle size distribution and steep selectivity curves offers good preparative characteristics and high resolution. The hydrophilic nature of the resin reduces nonspecific adsorption and increases recovery.
