The Viresolve® Process Area Modules are stand-alone, single-use, disposable modules used to remove viruses from process-scale protein solutions. Viresolve® modules are made of a single structure, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) material. The modules are thermally bonded, and no solvents are used when manufacturing the unit. These modules are used with two peristaltic pumps or other pharmaceutical-grade pumps in tangential flow filtration mode for excellent transmembrane pressure control. The Viresolve® module effectively removes viruses while maximizing protein recovery and minimizing retention. Viresolve® 180 has excellent virus retention and consistently recovers more than 90% of proteins.
