Viresolve® Standard Modules are stand-alone, single-use, disposable modules used for viruses removal from protein solutions. Viresolve® modules are made of a single structure, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) material. The modules are thermally bonded, and no solvents are used when manufacturing the unit. The Viresolve® module effectively removes viruses while maintaining maximum protein recovery and minimum retention. These modules are used with two peristaltic pumps in a tangential flow filtration mode for excellent transmembrane pressure control. Each module is equipped with a medical-grade silicone tubing kit and gasket, which enables easy connection to various of peristaltic pumps. Modules are available in multiple configurations to meet a wide range of process needs.
