Annexins are a group of calci-dependent phospholipid binding proteins that regulate anticoagulation, apoptosis, signal transduction and other processes and are involved in the occurrence and development of many diseases. Annexin A5(Anx A5) is the most widely distributed member of the annexin family. It was originally known as an anticoagulant. Annexin A5 mainly acts as an anticoagulant and an antithrombotic drug.
