Analysis of Glucose Uptake by Fluorescence Microplate Reader (CAT#: STEM-MB-1510-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 0.02 nmol/μL
Detection range: 0.02-0.3 nmol/μL
Detection equipment: Fluorescence Microplate Reader
Excitation wavelength: 530 nm
Emission wavelength: 590 nm

Principle

2-deoxyglucose is converted into 2-DG-6P, which is catalyzed by glucose dehydrogenase to generate 6PDG, and NADP+ is converted into NADPH. The generated NADPH converts the probe into a fluorescent substance under the action of myocardial yellow transmitter. The fluorescent substance can be excited at 530 nm. The emission wavelength is detected at 590 nm.

Applications

It is suitable for the determination of glucose uptake capacity of cell samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Determination of fluorescence intensity.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: cell samples
