Analysis of Glutamine (Gln) by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1470-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 0.036 mmol/L
Detection range: 0.036–2.0 mmol/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 4.7%, intra-lot difference of 3.2%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 440-460 nm

Principle

Gln is catalyzed by enzymes, while NAD+ is reduced to NADH, which reduces WST-8 to orange-yellow formazan with a maximum absorption peak at around 450 nm in the presence of a hydrogen-delivering substance. Gln content in the system was determined by the change of absorption value at 450 nm

Applications

Used to detect the content of glutamine in animal and plant tissues, serum (plasma).

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: animal and plant tissues, serum (plasma)
